Article Submission Guidelines

The monthly NVC Quick Connect eNewsletter is published 12 times a year around the 1st of the month, and reaches more than 13,000 individuals in 40 countries (80% of subscribers are in the U.S. and Canada). Since 2006, we’ve enjoyed a higher than average open rate, and typically grow our list by at least 2,000 new subscribers each year. Each publication is developed around one of five popular NVC-related themes and includes 2-3 features stories in each publication.

To submit an article to be included in the NVC Quick Connect eNewsletter, and in association with our editorial calendar, please follow the guidelines listed below.

Article Submission Guidelines

General Guidelines: Our readers seem to respond best to articles that are topical in nature (rather than general overviews of broad concepts), and offer practical stories, roleplays, exercises, steps, inspiration, and/or real-world examples they can apply to their own life. Edited book or booklet excerpts are also acceptable.

In addition, your article should be succinct, written in a conversational tone, with short paragraphs for ease of reading in an electronic publication format. Please be sure to include a brief author bio (not to exceed 85 words), including any hyperlinks you’d like, at the end of your article submission. Article length: 500-1000 words
Articles due: 25th of month prior to publication date
File type: Please submit your article in an MS Word document, attached to your email
